Building Renovation/Construction Update #2 - Week of July 26th
The multi-million dollar building renovation project is progressing at the O'Bryant this summer. Click for more details and pictures
The first picture depicts the exterior wall at the rear of the building (see also pictures three and four).
The second picture depicts the new robotics lab in the science building.
The third picture depicts the exterior wall at the rear of the building to the left of the entrance from the parking lot - note the new windows!
The fourth picture depicts the exterior wall at the rear of the building to the right of the entrance from the parking lot - note the new windows!
The fifth picture depicts what were the Community Science Workshop and Ms. Saluti/Ms. Elder's classroom at the basement level of building #3 which are being combined to create one large science lab.
The sixth picture depicts what were Ms. LaBonte's classroom and Ms. Campbell's classroom at the basement level of building #3 which are being combined to create one large science lab.
The seventh picture depicts the entrance to the preparation room adjacent to the above science lab.
The eighth picture depicts what were Mr. Johnson's classroom and Mr. Muller's classroom on the top floor of building #3 which are being combined to create one large science lab.
The ninth picture depicts what was Ms. Williams' computer lab on the top floor of building #3 which is being converted into one large science lab - note the exterior windows!
The tenth picture depicts what were Ms. Roberts' classroom and Ms. Shields' classroom on the top floor of building #3 which are being combined to create one large science lab.
The eleventh picture depicts what was Mr. Kazlauskas' classroom on the first floor of building #3. As previously mentioned in the July 12th update, the cinder block wall was removed a couple of weeks ago in preparation for the work on the new main entrance. This picture depicts the temporary sheet rock wall which will separate students and staff from the construction site for the new main entrance (it will not be completed until November).
