Fall 2015 Season Highlights

With three solid victories, the team opened September with focused intensity. A loss to East Boston set the stage for some gritty ties against Madison and Snowden, but more importantly losing Bryan and Ilias for the season with traumatic leg injuries. The senior leadership of Mauricio anchored the defensive line, and Cristiano took over as a leader in scoring and encouraging the team. And no goal mattered so much as the final minute diving slide from Edwin that ultimately rewarded OB with a win over West Roxbury. Because of the growing confidence of 9th grade varsity starters, Jorge, Abner, and Daniel, the gritty 11th grade midfield presence of Julio, Mehdi, and Abdul, 10th grade foundation of Joe, Erikson, and Owen, the team earned a place in the MIAA State Tournament.

Even as this season ended with a loss, this team continued to show all in with membership in the Tiger Zone, and transforming Friday Futsal into a serious intramural program.
